The Hylian alphabet and writing in EnglishAs you may know by now, the alphabets which I have altered for use with the Hylian Language Project are a combination of singular and syllable letters. This gets mistaken a lot as being upper and lowercase however so I'd like to make an effort to explain a bit more how the alphabet works, and further, how to properly use it when writing in English.
First, if you haven't familiarized yourself with the alphabet, please take a moment to look over the Hylian Language lesson 1, found here:

This can get a little bit confusing when writing in English because of a few extra letters which are dependent on pronunciation. Namely the two different characters for I, the two R's, and the lack of a letter x.
The first i in Hylian looks kind of like a box with a lid. This is the long i, and in English can be used in words like "link" or "sing" as stated in the lesson. The "short I" is used in most English words which contain an I, such as "his", "it" or "with" as stated in the lesson,

FINALLY got lesson 2 up. So sorry it took so long! I had it ready for over a month now but I've been so swamped with orders I forgot to upload it, till I remembered today. Ugh!

I know it doesn't look like much really, but this should be all you guys need for basic numbers. I won't go into math stuff till later at some point. Feel free to ask questions in the comments though!

Of course! Here's hoping I can find the time to get more done soon. I really want to get into the grammar and telling people how to really use the language soon! It's exciting. I wish I could clone myself just to work on this. haha

Oh, even if I do it at my own pace it's a bit of a chore. Mainly because it's not easy for me to really explain things that work flawlessly in my head, in ways that other people will understand. I've never considered myself a teacher, despite projects like these. haha
