I've reuploaded lesson 3 since 1 and 2 are both finally up. Sorry for putting things out of order before! I'll try not to do that again. ^~

Next up is Time 02! How to actually tell time in Hylian! Here's hoping it doesn't take another couple of months for me to get it done! haha

I have a lot of real life stuff taking up ALL my time right now, so it'll be a little while before I can get to the next lesson. Sorry! I wish I could get them done faster but when I have deadlines and a lot to do that has to come first. Soon as I have time to set aside for language work though I'll get right on it! ^_^

So HOW to say the words are in Roman?

You mean how to pronounce them? For now the best way is to refer to lesson 1 for that, but I realize I'm going to have to make some videos to help with that at some point too.

Very interesting about the "six days a week" thing, though I don't remember that in any of the games. Was that something Nintendo said, or am I just ignorant?

Some of the information has to do with things that just make more sense to me or feel right. It is taken from things the games which inspired me, but it's not actually official canon nor ever directly stated.

This one in particular I based on the Three Golden Goddesses as well as the Goddess of Time and the Fierce Deity (who I've for a LONG time believed was the ancient god of fate (it makes sense, but that's another story)) so that makes 5 deities.. so one day each, and a sixth to celebrate for them all, like the weekend.

Also if Hyrule is more likely an alien planet, it's bound to work differently and in the old days when I was inventing my timelines and "fanverse" concept this sounded like a great way to set a difference between Hyrule and Earth. Change up the time a bit and base it on suggested myth in the games.

On my old site, the fanverse info like that and the language work it's self tied together with the site to give off a surreal sort of feeling and draw you into it, in a manner of speaking. :3

You're welcome! I may have to try and better explain that outside the lessons some time so people know what's going on. I hadn't thought about that, so thanks for having asked!

Ooooh! I've seen so many references to your Hylian language, but seeing a guide is really cool! If you don't mind me asking, by what process do you invent the words? Is it pure inspiration, or do you base it somewhat on some existing language or something?
