Minecraft Zelda II Inspired Temple by Sarinilli Minecraft Zelda II Inspired Temple by Sarinilli
Spent some free time between projects and work in the last week building this in minecraft. It started off as a whim just for the heck of it and quickly evolved into something much more grand: an updated concept based on the old temples from Zelda II: Adventure of Link.

Top Left: Frontal side view in daylight.
Top Right: Surreal combination of day and night; front view.
Bottom Left: Inside the main structure.
Bottom Right: A night shot to show off the glowing floor.

I'm actually using my own textures; the updates to Minecraft keep leaving me in the dust though so I've never gotten it done enough to release it to the public... if I ever do I'll probably be putting it up here on DA though. :3

Hmm..I haven't touched the animals yet..not really. Maybe find one that you sort of like and edit it? I'm sure no one will mind if it's just for your own use. :3

That has become tricky with the "resource" packs now; but you can do what I did: download a pack you like and unzip it, then go through the folders to see where everything is at. If you want to make a "remix pack" for your own use all you have to do is just replace the texture files with the ones you want to use and re-zip it, save it with a new name and there you go. :3

Oh shoot... yeah. I see where you're coming from. I ended up switching back to windows ages ago from Debian because of games and digital art. ^^;;

I'm sure someone on the Minecraft forums may be able to help you, though. From what I remember of Linux it shouldn't be impossible by any means, just a bit more complicated. :3
