Description

April 08 2017: Almost three years since my last update. Polished a few things up that I've learned better over the years; it's not a mandatory upgrade, but if you've had any issues at all with this installing or working properly, please try out this new version and let me know how it goes! Thanks, and enjoy!

July 08 2014:
Here we go again with fixes and updates... sorry guys, I keep doing this to you! I went and fixed some issues in ALL my fonts. Enjoy!

: I realized after a long long time that there was some naming in the font that was left over from the template! Oops... I fixed this error and updated some internal issues that may have kept the font from working on some machines. Sorry to anyone who may or may not have had issues with this font working properly in the past!

This is the Gerudo Alphabet, a script as old as the sands themselves...

This is my fan alphabet for the Gerudo people in the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The script here was inspired by elements in the game it's self as well as Tolkien's works.

This font was made long before Nintendo's release of their official Gerudo alphabet! This variation still holds in my story universe of Hyrule, and will be kept up for anyone who wants an alternative and unique alphabet for the Gerudo, as well as those who follow the tales of Hyrule Nautil.

The zip file contains the .ttf and a pdf mapping chart for the letters. It's missing the mapping for the double-letter: simple, turn the character on it's side. It's mapped to the tilde ~.

Note:

This font is free for personal use. If you plan to use this alphabet in fanart, fan-fiction, tell your friends about it, use it in print work, you get the point... I expect credit.
If you're unsure whether or not I would allow for any specific reason, please contact me beforehand.

Please do not host this font on any site without my direct permission!

I’m starting to get back into learning to read and write this fanmade alphabet (because it’s fun), and I just got confused on a small thing. Let’s say I wanna write a word that has a double vowel after a vowel like in the word “queen”, how would I write that I’m sarif gerudo?
